All right, so more fall colors from Cody. I tried to take them so you could read the display cards. Hopefully you guys can zoom in and read. If not, let me know what you want info on… (The saddle was Teddy Roosevelts).

And since we are talking color and museums, I also went to the Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Salt Lake City. Some amazing iron in there too. (I’ve owned 27 Toyota 4x4s in my life, including 9 Land Cruisers, and I have my name on the wait list for the new 2024 model).

Love the guns and holsters from the Bonanza boys. That brings back some fond memories. Also the radial cylinder rifles are interesting.

Cody is definitely “out of the way” unless you are say, visiting Yellowstone, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. There are I believe four sections to the museum, and I only had time for the firearm and Wild West sections. There is some “fluff” in the WW section (log house, clothing, hair style displays and the like), but the firearm section is SUPER extensive.

I remember going to Cody when I was a kid back in the 60's, probably changed a lot since then. We would drive back to visit relatives in N. Dakota nearly every Summer. Stayed in motels on the way there, no car AC back then so a motel with a pool was welcome at the end of the day's drive.

Still a lot of green here, but what IS popping out is pretty vivid. More so than I've seen in years.

Mark, they are here also, on the way to the grandson's BD party today.
I noticed that the tree line on the north end of the hunting property were beginning to change.
Other than a couple spots on the way, I didn't much change.
Then, when we pull up to the mil's the dogwood is solid red.

Nice color on the south side of the cabin. It faces the west. Thought I'd include a pic of the cabin as well. Actually, Carol calls it the cottage. That probably is more appropriate. We'll be heading home at the end of the month.
