I was going through my .45 A.C.P. brass a few months ago and I found one with a 1931 headstamp . I decided it deserved to be retired although I have no idea where it came from. When I had a 1917 Colt I was given some old WW2 steel case .45 cases. I loaded them once and let them go although I had carbide dies and they would not cause wear in a revolver.

Wow..you need to build a glass display case for that jewel!!! I have some 1965-66 era military .45 ACP ammo and have shot some of it. They still went bang and hit the target!
