Another Classic

This is my dads Mossberg Mod 152 from 1951 - and the rifle I learned to shoot with.
Cleaned it up today and will probably be shooting it tomorrow!

If you are referring to the fold out front flip down on the forestock this is not a modification and is original to the model.

Scope is an old Bushnell 'Sportview' 3X9 X 38 - beat up but still pretty clear and tight.

I do remember those. Have fun with that old Mossie.

Mossberg used that fold down fore grip on several of their 22s. That forward fold down section was used as a forward grip, similar to what was used on some rifles in WW II. The idea was to attract buyers with that WW II look, since these guns were made in the 50s, after the war.
