Here is their Remington 1858 45 Colt conversion...love those octagons

They have it in all 3 barrel lengths but I kind of like the 5.5 the best.

5.5" is good for the 45 Colt. That's a purdy one!

I have a 5.5 in a daisy bb pistol....it is a handy size for handling.

Im betting the only reason you have one in 5.5 is because they dont make one in 7.5 or RR would have one.

I have a 1858, but no conversion cylinder.
Used it on this last year.

Sure would like to hear the rest of that story, Randy. What distance? Did you just jump out from behind a bush and shoot him, or were you in a stand, or what?

Uh, I could talk myself into one of those. Big surprise, right?

By the way, 5 1/2" has always been my favorite barrel length on a single action revolver. Gets me the cartridge performance and sight radius I want, but it still gets me the balance I like.
