O.k. I attended the annual NRA meeting/show in Indy this morning.
Naturally I made a beeline for the Henry booth.

Mr. Imperato was not there, but was not expected.
I stopped and asked one of the Henry guys if they had an example of the American Eagle on display.
He said they did, and pointed out the display.

I told him I won one of these and I watched his expression change to quizzical.
He asked where I had won one and I told him the Henry Rifles forum.
His eyes lit up and he congratulated me, then informed me that he was the rep that was tasked with sending me my rifle!

He told me that as soon as he got back to his emails (after the NRA show) that he would get right on sending it out.
I'm thinking I should hear something by the end of next week.

Mr. Imperato expressed his regrets that he would not be able to meet me in person at the show, and then went even further.
He instructed one of his minions to comp me with yet more Henry swag!
When I got home from the NRA show this afternoon I had a package in the mailbox from Henry Pride.

They sent me a Hunt with a Henry ball cap, a Henry knit Thinsulate winter cap, and a Hunt with a Henry polo shirt.
Ticket said $86 charge- Comp A.I. (I assume that is Anthony Imperato)
What a company, what a guy...

By the way, that American Eagle is MUCH purdier in person!

Oh yeah.
They also had ANOTHER drawing going on there at the show. You guessed it, for another American Eagle!
I wondered for a second about signing up for it too, when one of the reps told me, "Yes, by all means. The same entry is also eligible to win a Polaris General 4x4 worth $20,000!
