Re: Gunstock covers
I edited your post and fixed the link. I'm big on covers although I like to call them wraps.

Re: Gunstock covers
I think he does great work but his logo is very large. I have several wraps by Three Fingers and his is much smaller and on the butt on several.

Re: Gunstock covers
Well I ordered this for my BB 45 Colt. From Jon Klein at Gunstock Covers. I hope it looks good on the rifle. Will protect it in the bush as it should cover all of the stock poking out of the scabbard. Fingers crossed!

I think they are called butt cuffs.

Let us know how you like them. Since you spend the day in a saddle I expect you would know something about leather.RanchRoper wrote:Well I ordered this for my BB 45 Colt. Re: Gunstock covers
Will do. They look pretty rugged, and I'd rather it gets beat up and not the rifle! Carrying a few extra bullets is always a plus too.

Re: Gunstock covers
I really like the one John made for me. Nice materials and workmanship. I also like the shipping touch.
The lacing does wonders to keep the butt where you put it. Brass is pretty slick.
As soon as time and budget allow I'll probably get another like it made for the 45/70.
