Avitar help
I have an aviator that I am wanting to use.
It's this one
I've tried a couple different ways but just can't get it to work. It is a picture I took of a tin I have and its in my photo album on my Iphone. Any suggestions?
I'm a huge Looney Tunes fan and ol' Sam is one of my favorites.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Avitar help
I'm not the expert on handling the Forum tools, but here's what I first see about your jpeg. Your file size is too big. And that's based on what the "edit avatar" section tells me about my current picture:
Current image:
Maximum dimensions; width: 150 pixels, height: 150 pixels, file size: 6.00 KiB.
Easy to say that the pixels and file size work just fine, because you can see my avatar and the Forum says "it's good!"
Again the first thing in your image that I see is your file size is too large. Gotta get it smaller. At the same time, I'd set your pixel height and width to about 150 each. You can try different sizes, but this looks pretty good on the Forum screen. You've got a cool image, but need to edit it.
Maybe Daytime Dave or CT_Shooter have more concise help to send your way....they are a couple of our Forum cyberspace gurus!
Have fun!

Re: Avitar help
Save your avatar as a GIF and try again. A GIF takes less space than a JPEG.

Re: Avitar help
I took some liberties with the image to square it up, but this should do it. Use the download link to get the 150x150 image. No problem if you don't want to use it.
