Now what is that ugly sock doing on the stock??? My 870 has the AR 15 type stock and sometimes not too cheek friendly so the sock was very welcome shooting the slugs! Also the stock has a recoil absorbing spring which really helps.
I bought the gun from my son some years ago with that stock setup.

well understood .... during my career with NC's Dept of Correction the 870 was the shotgun adopted for use .... they were really strongly built and stood up to untold thousands of rounds per year .... to say the least, they were hard kickers .... I enjoyed your video and do have to hand it to you .... no way I I'd fire that many rounds through one again .... nicely done video, thanks for the link
