Did a little golfing today.
Shot at golf balls with my Small Game Carbine. Lots of fun especially shooting at the ones that are still moving. You don't have to lead 'em much and those golf balls tend to fly when you hit them just right.

Yep - shooting golf balls is fun and a challenge due to their size - but reflect light well and are easy to see.Lots of fun. Don't know why I never tried it before.

A few years ago I was messing with some ideas for a target system that would utilize golf balls as the target and could be quickly replaced as they got destroyed. Might have to readdress the idea.

Does sound fun, but I like better the idea of shooting those Ponderosa pine cones and chunks of ice.

Yep - pine cones make great targets - a never ending supply and you don't have to pick them up when done!

I don't care what it is as long as it moves and is a reactive target. Fun to shoot it and then hit it again while it is on the move. Also got that little SGC dialed in; it is a lot of fun to shoot. I may be spending a lot more time with smaller calibers.

I have 3 walnut trees in my back yard. Pretty much an endless supply of small targets in October and November.

I laid out a putting course and would shoot the golf ball using CCI 22 Quiets in my Heritage Arms revolver and try to get the ball into the hole.
Technique was the plan to hit it just right for small putting hops. No hole in one though!

That's got to be challenging! Give it time and practice, that hole in one might happen.
