Good for you and congrats on your incoming new Henry. Further evidence that Henryitis is real and a very healthy virus that many of us have become afflicted with.
Look forward to seeing some pics and hearing of your first impressions, range reports and any mods you might be thinking of.
You're just getting started - CONGRATS!

Yeah, very easy to see the excitement as you've bought the "Classic Shootin' Iron" of the .357 Big Boys (per Henry's description).
You'll definitely enjoy that rifle. Congrats on a great choice!

That model was my second Henry, too. I got a Golden Boy 22LR first and loved it so much I had to have one in 357. Now I have a Steel Carbine in 357 on my wish list. Henrys are fun, high quality rifles!

Re: New BBB .357 Carbine Ordered
My BBB was my first Henry and I really like it.
Mine was a 'rebound' purchase after years of dissatisfaction with a Winchester Trapper in .357 I previously owned.
I was actually looking for a Marlin (JM) in .357 but they were few and far between at the time and my BBB showed up at a local rural, outdoor oriented store and after about 45 minutes of looking it over it left with me!
I had actually been 'researching' and handling Henrys so the purchase was not impulsive.
I am still 'on the fence' if I would have chosen the BBS if it has been available at the time. I looked at one later after they became available and I still question it but think I would have continued to 'lean' toward the BBB.
It will probably be my only Henry as there is really nothing else in their current 'lineup' I want - that is until Henry decides to make a 'repop' of the Winchester '73 - but I doubt they could do so legally as the Mod 73 is still a trademark of Winchester.

I certainly enjoy mine. Same as you're getting. Great rifle. And shooting .357 thru it, either factory or handloads, is a pure joy. Next on my list: BBS in .357 or .41. Heck, might be in .45 Colt. Your .357 won't be you're last.
