New to me HenryBB Classic

Post by Rifletom » Sun Aug 26, 2018 3:56 pm

Picked up my rifle yesterday and gave it a real good looking over once back home. Guys, I don't believe this rifle was ever shot. There is no markings on the loading tube plunger, no dirt or powder residue in the receiver, not any marks/wear on the ejector and when I ran a patch down the barrel. it had what looked like a bit of dust. No fouling, nothing to indicate this Henry was ever fired.. Smooth action and it feeds and ejects my .38spl loads perfectly. Pictures once I get that figured out. Very happy camper here.

E, I found it at a pawn shop by where I used to work. Originally they wanted $720! Said it had been in their rack about 4 months and nobody ever asked about. When I went in and saw it, the manager said he'd drop it to $600. I offered $550, but he wouldn't move. But, we did agree to $600 OTD. Yea!
