With the green are you going to call it a Zombie shooter? Seriously tell us about the ammo you use and the distances its accurate at. As a backpacker and hiker I would be interested in taking one along.

I didn't like the look of the leather , plus I can see nocking the arrow better without the leather . It should also increase the FPS of the arrow . Since it will be a arrow shooter only the leather is not needed . If I was a backpacker I would leave the leather on make the arrow rest fold down or remove with 1 screw fast like mine so I could shoot round lead balls .

Remember weight is a factor. How would picking up pebbles work for ammo?

If I was going to shoot both arrow and round ball type ammo I would make the arrow rest to where it folds down . Then remove nocks from the arrows and glue golf tee in there place arrow so it will feel like a ball you are pulling back and leave the stock leather pull . I'm trying build a accurate top of the line arrow only slingshot . I think I can make it as accurate as a compound bow at 25 yds .

How accurate is accurate? I had a sling-shot as a kid and couldn't hit anything with it.

I'm soooooooooo interested in making one. If I only had the time.

Great custom build tgr. I like the bow only approach.

I was deprived. I never had a sling shot as a kid. I picked up a couple in the last few years, but haven't done anything with them. I'd like one of those bow slings though.

I'm not happy with the bow sling . The arrows are not going straight into target they are casting to the left . I could fix that on a reg bow . I put the leather back on it to stopped rubber tubing from getting stuck into the Universal Whisker Arrow Brush Rest . I put a magnum tubes on it to speed it up but it didn't help . :x :x :x

The leather ball pooch when threw the Arrow rest / whisker and broke it . I only got to pull and shoot it 25 time before I broke it . :x :x :x So for right now I am going to quit playing with it as a bow slingshot and may use at slingshot later . Will sell any part or all if any one is interested at cheap , cheap price . . I have 10 fiberglass arrows , bow release , bow quiver and sling shot with magnum power band with leather pooch to shoot round balls . . I have the original band I setup for shooting arrows with nocks too . .

I take it that it doesn't come with a warranty? I ordered the slingshot in your other thread. I'm going hiking today and with I had it already.
