Skinner Lo Pro Peep
I put a Skinner Lo Profile Peep on my recently acquired Marlin (yeah, sorry about that, but the price was good). JeBar and I went to Blackwood on Tuesday and it wouldn't get go low enough on the receiver and was shooting high. I did some modifications on it yesterday and I think I'll keep it on instead of a scope. Although not perfect yet my results today at 50 yards were encouraging enough for me to get some more practice with it.

Good for you. Looks like you got the elevation issue solved.

Elevation, yes. I need to shoot more to get used to it. I did get a couple in the "bullseye". I'd like to see what I can do with it at 100 yards.

NICE .... with grouping like that you most certainly have the capacity to fine tune your point of aim .... looking forward to your continued reports
