Picatinny for HO12AW?

Re: Picatinny for HO12AW?
Got the Ace in the Hole in. As received it wouldn't fit. So Williams Tech Support lied about fitment. GaHenryFan is correct. It can fit with a bit of filing. But for the amount of optic swapping I do, I need something very solid and repeatable. So I think I'll take it to a 'smith to get properly drilled and tapped for the base. I'm sure I'll prolly end up rasslin the front sight, too. But no biggie. I like the way it looks on there outside of my buggering around that mounting hole. I cut and shaped it a bit. You can see the drop on the table beside it. Couldn't leave the rear buckhorn sight on as it was and it looked goofy to me with all that extra hangin off. Still pondering the sighting options. And apologies in advance, gettin decent pics in the man cave is tricky.
And I promise I'll only take it out at night like this..
(Yes, it looooks rediculous!)

Will you maintain and use the rear peep with this assembly?
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

"Unique", eh? HeheheJEBar wrote:now that's a truly unique look ....
Codfisher- I'm gonna try the peep. I'd like to use it. One thing about the peep I hadn't thought about was that it makes the thermal a little more forward and it's a neck stretcher to get where I need to be to see the screen well without volunteering for a case of scope eye.
