Years ago I used an 1894c Marlin in .357 Magnum I used for close range groundhog hunting. Used a 125 grain hollow point pushed as hard as I dared. Was VERY effective!

These XTPs turn into little bombs at this velocity. It's a ton of fun! Can't imagine what they would do to a groundhog.
