As a .41 lover, I too love the Henry. I have not bothered to scope mine. It may eventually get a ghost ring. I am currently shooting a 230 gr .411 coated SWC from Missouri bullet co. moving at 1600 fps in mine. I have not hunted with it yet. I took my Marlin 35 Rem deer hunting this year but saw no legal bucks.
I also have the .41 in a SBH, Smith model 57, and a Tarus tracker which is my truck gun. I did take a doe with the Tarus three seasons ago. I used a 215 gr SWC .411 from Missouri Bullet traveling at a measly 950 fps. I was sitting in my Ranger and had just bagged my rifle when she passed at about 15 to 20 yards from me.

Bobcats are currently a protected fur bearing animal in CT.; though prior to 1971, there was actually a bounty placed on them. As a result, hunters and farmers almost totally eliminated them. They've since rebounded and are now regularly seen.
