Ha, a rescue fore end. I'll have to change the title of the thread. Sure.

On the subject of reloading, one of my favorite cartridges to shoot is the .44 special. I realized that I would no longer be able to order ammunition through the mail after a certain point in time. I have no plans to move out of state, so reloading was the answer. Where I plan to relocate, I have made acquaintances in the local gun stores, but I will roll my own. I barely have time to post now, but in my second retirement, I will be setting aside plenty of time for shooting.

That dent in the stock was possibly made by the previous owner missing with a hammer while trying to punch out the rear sight.
