H001 & H004 Range Outing with Grandkids
H001 & H004 Range Outing with Grandkids
Youngest granddaughter wanted some shooting time on their Thanksgiving visit. We went to my son's outdoor range and had some fun.

Way to bring new shooters into the fold. LOL
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I'm sure they'll remember their visit and want to go right back to shooting, next time, if my experience doing the same with the grand kids and air guns means anything. Honestly, I think it was more fun to watch them than me shooting. Nice going.

Way to go! I bet it's nice having your own range also. Yes, the rabbits look very dead.

Great range report - doesn't get any better than shooting a couple of Henry 22LRs with family on your own land. Cudos to you for teaching your grand-kids how to shoot, but I would recommend some ear and eye protection next time out...

They were shooting some paper targets, and I had some little stands that would hold clay pigeons, and my son also had a shooting tree metal target stand. Makes for a lot of fun and a little competition. The shooter with the scoped rifle had the advantage. Paper targets and dueling tree were at 25 yds. Clay pigeion holders were scattered a various distances throughout the range.Sir Henry wrote:Looks like you were shooting clays also.

I've always liked shooting at different objects at different distances and angles.Steve51 wrote:They were shooting some paper targets, and I had some little stands that would hold clay pigeons, and my son also had a shooting tree metal target stand.
