9 months waiting on gun season to wet the 45 colt

Post by Smoke4320 » Mon Nov 06, 2017 3:19 pm

Guys please wish me luck Saturday
its been terrible so far for our Black powder season. Usually by now I would have at least 1 deer in the freezer .
We have had unusual warm weather combined with full moon .. there has not been 5 shots heard in a weeks time

Saturday is opening day for gun season and a Waning Gibbous moon (down to 43 % Saturday) and I will be carrying a Henry 45 Colt for its maiden hunting trip

Few people hunt the feared Waning Gibbous and live to tell the tale. Best of luck! :)

I am up this weekend. Hope you are successful.

Come on up. While mountain biking on our property, Sunday, nearly collided with a beautiful six point (3x3) buck.

I had one eating apples from my tree last winter. He was big.

Aren't we coming up on a full moon?

Yup. Not sure the exact date, but the moon was beautiful, last night. Very close to full, if not full.

Oh, wait, I thought you said "wailing gibbon".
