Brass Big Boy Stock Needs Better Home

Post by Florida_Cracker » Mon Aug 28, 2017 1:36 pm

I have a Henry Golden Boy stock that needs a better home. First one to respond “I’ll take it” and is willing to pay shipping (Post office estimated $11 depending on zip) can have it. I’ll ship it – you send me a check for postage when you receive it. Respond via personal message - I’ll update this post when it is claimed.

Background – I recently purchased a BBS in 357 and it arrived with a small crack in the stock. I called Henry and in their infamous customer service, they sent me a new stock almost immediately. But they sent a stock for the brass Big Boy, not the steel Big Boy. I called again-they apologized and agreed to send the correct stock. At the end of the conversation, I asked customer service how they wanted me to return the brass version and I was told “just keep it if you want it”.

The big boy stock is awesome on a mares leg.

No, No, No! Putting a rifle stock on the Mare's leg makes it a short barreled rifle subject to NFA licensing and fees. Neat package but an expensive toy.

I think they are legal in Canada...

Yes, sorry, a no-no in the USA apparently but legal here. It does make a cool little package though.
