I know it depends on multiple factors, but I would like your general impressions. I will be using factory ammunition. I will use this information to help me determine whether or not it would advisable to purchase the heavier BBB if needed to help with the extra recoil. Thanks!
going back to your original question, if recoil is the prime concern, a 357 with recoil will produce the least felt recoil .... having the option to fire 38 Specials will reduce it even more .... for paper punching and gong ringing, it is more than adequate .... as noted, we have one and it is truly fun to shoot .... our sons and our 70 lb 9 year old grandson fired a couple of hundred rounds through it last Sunday afternoon .... I've always approached purchasing a firearm from the standpoint of, what do I want/need it to do .... paper punching is one thing, being able to hunt big game is another .... the good thing with both 357 and 44 mags is they can do both
