My problem of ordering firearms online is that I have to pay an FFL transfer fee and sales tax. Unless its a used firearm it just doesn't work for me.

I've done it when I can't find the gun locally. Some online sellers have free shipping, mad when they're from out of state there's no sales tax. The guy I use for transfers changes $15. So, often it's cheaper than buying from a store.

For me it's $399 + $11 shipping + $25 transfer and NICS and no sales tax. That comes to $435, a good deal for an out the door price on a Golden Boy around here.
