My 1860 is a Uberti. Top notch. Fit and finish flawless. Check out my range reports.

Ubertis are a different animal than a Henry - they are quality replicas of actual old-time rifles - i.e. the Winchester 1873. They fire, feel, and function just like the real version made back in 1873. I don't own any Uberti's at present (the rifle pictured in my previous post in this thread is an actual new Winchester 1873), but the ones I have held/examined have all been excellent quality - on par or even better than Henry.
Thanks for the reply. I've looked at but never pulled the trigger on some of the Uberti SA revolvers. Maybe I need to rectify that.

All Uberti parts fit the original 1860 Henry , 1866 and 1873 made in the 1800 with better steel and machining too boot . They even make upgraded parts to them to work better and fit the original guns with NO mod to the gun . You can put the short stroke kit and race parts that are in my Uberti into a any 66 or 73 original rifle with NO mod to gun . :D :D :D

These are CAS / SASS race guns are for sale to a FTF in Tex . I have too many goodie to ship .

Both my revolver and rifle are Uberti imported by Cimarron. Great shooters both. Attention to detail is remarkable. Most of the westerns you see use Uberti. Very accurate in period details. Museum quality. Smooth action and super fun to shoot.

Thought this must have been a typo Al, but I see they actually made a 30" octagon barrel.

doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but i really don't care for the Frontier or GB either due to the weight and it's distribution.
Yes they did and a friend of mine and I bought them at Cabelas. I got a 24 inch and he got the 30. I later sold or traded mine in the 24 and then when he decided to sell his I bought his. I sold it also later to a guy I work with who still has it. Al

The 30" barrel is plus if you shoot blackpowder ..... Smokeless powder in a pistol cartridge 18" or 20" is a plus . .... :D :D

Where can you get the upgraded parts? Do they have a website for the upgraded parts?

Here's my 1873 Winchester. It's a CCH 45 Colt with a 24 inch barrel. This is the one manufactured for Winchester in Miroku.

Nice display. Love the badges. Here are my Uberti replicas. They really do a good job on quality and workmanship in my opinion.
