"Improvised range" report

While working on some pivots today I had a good backstop so I loaded up 10 in the tube and gave it a try. This was 75 yards off the hood of my truck with a 25 to 30 mph crosswind from left to right. Shooting my .41 mag Henry BBS with bullet details of 215 grain coated bullet by Missouri Bullet Company pushed by 8.2 grains of unique in a new Starline case with a Federal large pistol primer. I tried my best to hold center of bullseye without compensating for the wind trying to get a group. I'll take it considering the truck movement was pushing my crosshairs around at least 6 to 8 inches. The marked one's​ are from an earlier sight in. Thanks for looking, Dave

Yes, definitely a nice group with that kind of rest and wind. Not ideal conditions for shooting small groups, but this is the kind of shooting test that tells what a gun can do when the going gets tough. Good work.

Solid-looking group with 10/10 in-target POIs.....especially good shooting off the truck hood.
You sure don't need to use a set-up range! Good job.
