Looks real nice RR. Uberti always puts out a quality product. I had a friend that had one and he really liked it. Then one day decided he want to sell all his guns and get out of it. I dont think he kept it. Kind of sad as it was a nice rifle. Congrats Im sure you will love every minute you get to spend shooting it. Al

It's actually very "slim" in it's lines although it has some heft to it for sure. Recoil should be next to nothing. After a few dozen rounds go through it, it will loosen up in the action and settle in for a workout. The cartridge elevator is a pretty cool design.

very nice indeed .... really looking forward to hearing your impressions of the Vernier Sights and of working around the flap on the loading tube spring as it moves when the lever is worked ....

Thank you. Lead will be flying on Saturday! It will be interesting figuring the sights out. Can't wait. Have not shot it yet but just playing around with it last night the front blade sight is pretty easy to pick up looking down that long barrel.

is the rear sight on your Veriner ladder a "V" or a peep sight
