Picked this 99 Subaru Forester up Dec of 15, my third one. Flipped a couple and found this one in S.C. Had some oil leaking, but drove it home. I have had 1 car payment in my life in 1994 I think it was paid off.Being a technician, I just get cars and fix em/sell em, but this one is a great solid car, 225K, but runs/drives great, replaced everything needed when I got it. Head gaskets, timing belt, water pump, tune up, front end etc. And put a set of FS Winterforce tires on this fall, still haven't had enough snow to try em out yet !!
I had the identical car when I got this one, but no cruise on the new one. I swapped out cruise, drivers seat& several other things before selling the rusty oil burner for $300.00 more than the new car !!!

And rustproofed it REAL good.

Congratulations! You are a good mechanic. Subarus do go for a long time and are terrific in snow and that one looks really nice. I had three of them in the past, a Tribeca and two Imprezas.

I forgot to mention, although I bought the Scooby doo in SC, it started out in Mt.Airy NC,
some guy named Andy was from there
