52 with a good steady rain. Enough rain that a flood advisory for the wildfire burn scar areas from the fires a month ago. Happy we decided to postpone our departure to the lake until tomorrow. The rain is expected to continue for several more hours. A great soaking for the area followed by a week of sun and 70’s. Couldn’t have scripted it better. :D

Holy cow vaquero, warm indeed! Condolences.

Here it’s 47 this morning with a high in the mid 60’s. Nicer tomorrow and every day improving to maybe 80 by Friday. Heading to the lake today for the first trip with the new rv. It’s been fun loading it up and organizing stuff.

The retirees breakfast is getting sparce. Only two of us showed up.
We did the firing squad for the DAV benefit golf tournament and then I went down to Rochester, MN
and brought our motorhome back home. It rained all the way and while I was hooking up the toad
and unhooking, but we only have .4 on an inch so far. Not enough.

This is the time of year I start watching the thermometer inside the house. It was 66F in the bedroom when I woke up and 67F downstairs. I bet I turn the boiler on in a few days.

51' and overcast this morning. Likely no sunshine today and maybe only 66'. Tomorrow supposed to jump up into the 80's. Unusual temp swings this summer. Back and forth between the 60' and 80's or higher every few days.

52 up here at the lake this morning. First outing with the new trailer and retained the heat from yesterday great. I didn’t hear the furnace kick on once and it was set to 62. The motorhome we had before leaked heat quickly probable due to the greater interior cubic feet which included the driving area. Had some rain last evening and a short sprinkle this morning otherwise it’s a real pleasant day here. We’re heading back home to get the boat in a few and the next several days are expected to be sunny and 70’s. Some beach time for the dogs for sure.

Glen says hi!

84 oppressively humid degrees (RealFeel 101) @ 3:12PM on Tues Sept 15th .... predicted high of 88 followed by and overnight low of 58 .... 0% probability of Precipitation --- thunderstorms likely over the coming weekend .... first up this morning was taking Maureen to an appointment for her 1 year review of her right knee replacement .... second picking up our 10 year old grandson at a medical appointment and getting him back home .... unless something unexpected comes up, that will probably be it for today
