The only success I've had in that department is my wildflower plot in the back yard I use to attract insects to photograph. With a dry summer, I haven't done too well in that department this year. Of course, all I have to do there is dig up a patch of ground, scatter some wildflower seeds and keep them watered until they are established.

Little Girl loves her cat grass. It’s the only plant she is interested in eating. These seeds produce her favorite grass but I have to plant new grass every couple of months because it sprouts in three days, is ready to eat in a week then dies within two months.
I stopped growing cat grass (Wheat and Rye) because though Paige loved it, after a few years of burying her face in the potted stuff, she could no longer digest it. It was coming out the other end as whole blades of grass wrapped in a normal turd package that once dangled from her butt by the grass-end (so to speak) as she, unaware that it was there, galloped happily into the living room. Uh uh. No more for you.

But she really did love that stuff.
That would be a sight to see. Our dogs get the occasional “cling on” and they hate it.
