75 F at the moment in Ventura CA. Supposed to get up to 80 F today. Hopefully not any higher.
Yesterday was horrible. Super humid (for CA), overcast and well over 80 F.

50 and mostly overcast this morning. The local news hasn’t started yet but I believe the high will be in the 70’s. We are having a nice cool down with some lows in the 40’s. There is even a frost watch for the higher elevation valleys. Not me, at 2000 ft I’m considered a low elevation valley. Now the big news…..we may see some measurable rain next week. :o sure hope so. I heard last night that to be considered measurable the rain total must be a minimum of .1 inch. Huh? Measurable……I was thinking more like a half inch.

My son who lives 20 miles away and his girlfriend who lives 25 miles away are hosting a bbq for her birthday. Fortunate for us they decided to use a county park at a small lake just a few miles down the road from us. Cool!

Had an unexpected overnight shower. Open areas look wet. Still dry under the tree canopy.

54' and patchy this morning. Maybe 73' later. Along with rain forecast mid-next week, maybe snow above 6000ft.

Not only did I turn the air conditioner off but I’m thinking of turning the heat on.

We also turned the heat on this morning to get the chill out of the house. About 11:30 am it started raining (unforecasted).
