Range Report: SR22 and Standard V

Post by Sir Henry » Fri Aug 21, 2026 3:38 pm

I shot another 50 rounds a few minutes ago in the SR22. All went bang although the gongs where 40 yards away so I didn’t make that many hits. The larger 30” gong was easier but the smaller 8” ones were almost impossible to hit.

I like shooting out of the RV although I’m not literally shooting out of it. It does make a good spot to leave the firearms on the table and not have them out when someone comes over. I can’t leave them in the RV in the winter so this is just a summer solution.

I shot another 200 rounds this morning and have NOT had a single problem with the ammo in any of my firearms. The Remington Standard V is now my go to SV rimfire. I’m saving my Norma stuff for paper and will zero my firearms for the Remington. Currently most are zeroed for halfway between HV and SV.

I may just order more of this stuff.
