Boot Hill is getting more boots. My goal is too have a hundred pair of cowboy boots sitting on fence posts.

Time to test some gongs. I was shooting HV so I had to wear ears. Because of that I could barely hear the hits. Not as much fun as with a suppressor and no ears. My suppressed 22/45 Mk IV is accurate but not out to 40 yards. I can hit the larger gongs evertime with this Mare’s Leg and even the smaller ones most of the time.

You could pipe in Nancy Sinatra’s song “These Boots are Made for Walking”.

Or Dylan’s Boots of Spanish Leather.

An hours work in the 87F and 74% relative humidity and I’m ready for the sanctuary of the air conditioner.

It’s so hot and muggy I can only work for ten minutes then need a half hour to cool off. Next time out I’m shooting.

Nice job painting the plywood. Looks much better and fits right in with the other targets. That heat and humidity sounds awful.

Being able to go back inside frequently helps. My bench is 15 yards from my front door and 40 yards to the targets. Its nice to be able to shoot at paper. Looks like I need to lower and move left. I shot with my elbows on the table.

I’m thinking of ordering this sign. I need a few enablers about now.
