Finished up my load test. Landed on 28.2 grains of cfe 223 for 100 grain Hornady interlock factory seconds. SDs were 7.4 and 6.6 for Gas and bolt, respectively.

These were not the most accurate, but the 28.2 load kept them at about 1" for a ten-shot group. That's pretty good for plinking rounds. I loaded the rest of the empty brass and tested 25 in each gun (bolt and Gas). Everything went well, no major issues out to 240yds
A ten shot group that is 1 MOA is pretty darn good. I have a box of those 100 grain interlocks, it's about 20 years old now, I may have to give them another look. Always ended up moving towards the sexy plastic tip bullets, but bullets like those interlocks have been around a long time for a reason.
They work. Interlocks are harder to keep concentric, so I suspect that's the major difference and why these were factory seconds. That being said, at .19c a piece, I can't swage them that cheap. So, good plinkers that will also work with predator and varmint hunting.

If you want to pick up a bulk supply. I am quite pleased with the 1,000 I bought.

Went to the Range Thursday shot my brothers AK-47 so I got about 100 brass 7.62x39. Got home and dry tumbled them with the 357 that we shot. Today I lubed and Deprimed and decrimped primer pockets so I now have 100 shells ready to be primed. That will be the next loading session , priming one at a time with the Lee Ram Prime did setup.

Nothing at the reloading bench, lots of action at the work bench. Carpentry work for my daughter's deck , making a support bracket for a free standing table umbrella. Trying to attach a cleat to a corner railing post holding the umbrella support I made out of 3/4 inch pine.

Mine had gotten piled up. Finally cleaned it up and put stuff away.

Check your loading trays. When I started loading 45-70 I found my MTM and RCBS trays were too small for the rim of the 45-70. I had to order a special tray from RCBS.

Good advice, I'll look once I get them unburied
