Well, my 2025r is getting delivered in a week or two. I have a project or two for the backhoe and one for the bucket. I went with a flail mower to keep the trails groomed and possibly make more. The brush hog won't get lonely I hope. I have to move out the older fleet so Mary is happy.

It's at the dealership. The salesman showed me how relatively simple it is to remove and put back on the bucket and back hoe. Just waiting for the flail mower and ballast box to arrive then it will be delivered and they will pick up the trade in 650.

It is here now. I think it will be great for around here and what I want it for. I also got the ballast box and 4' flail mower.

Really nice, and it looks capable of whatever task you put it to.
Good luck, and many trouble free and safe years using it.

Very nice. I can think of all kinds of trouble I could get into around the farm here with that. :D Such fun.

I was shown how to take the backhoe and bucket off the tractor at the dealership by the salesman. He made it look easy. I practiced with the backhoe a few times before actually taking it all off and setting it down as the instructions state. It is really simple and is a very neat design. Then I assembled the 3pt hitch and put it on. So far so good. Read the flail mower book and will try it soon on my pasture trails.

I bought a JD2025R in 2019. It has been a great little tractor but it can be a little tippy it you have hilly ground. I put wheel spacers on the back wheels and that helped make it feel more stable on hilly ground. The loader and backhoe are not difficult to remove or put on. I rarely remove the loader and I made a rolling frame to unload the backhoe on so I can roll it around.

Thought I would add some pictures of the backhoe on the rolling stand I made for it.
