Stopped and fill both tanks on the ole Chevy, $3.69 a gallon and still cost $100.
RP
Wow, $3.69 a gallon. Gas here is around $5.20 a gallon, diesel is almost $7.00.
Costs me over $50 to fill my Miata. I do run pure gas 92 octane in it so it's quite a bit more than regular gasohol.

This was on the south side of town, for some reason the ww and Raceway are always cheaper than the rest of town. Out north it's running $3.99-4.19. Diesel is $5.25- 5.50.
So since I was there I took advantage.

Sat May 2nd is off to an interesting start .... light rain at 9AM .... Maureen has already gone for a celebration marking 50 years of the local high school being at its location .... she retired from teaching chemistry and physics there for well over 30 years .... the fact that they are calling for it to be a rainy day is ironic because our area has been in a severe drought for a good while .... its 52 with today's high is predicted to be 55 followed by an overnight low of 39 .... they say we are in for something over 5 hours of light rain that will accumulate to a total just under a half inch

Good morning, a warm and windy day, very nervous this morning. My pregnant daughter was Care Flighted to the big city (300 miles). Complications to her and the baby, this hospital has a great OB unit and a very good NICU.

One thump/rumble of thunder this morning shortly after sunrise. Seriously, what's with that?
48' and cloudy. Later to clear off and be mostly sunny and maybe 77'. Tomorrow hot, 89'.

Awesome to hear BRM, thanks for the update.
Back home this morning with actual internet. In camp we can sometimes get and sometimes not get one bar on our cell phones for a hotspot. It’s a wonderful 45 this morning with a high in the 70’s expected. Lot’s to do around here particularly mowing as the warm temps recently has the grass growing strong. Getting green too!

we are having a beautiful but cool Sunday morning, May 3rd, under a clear Carolina Blue Sky .... 60 @ 1PM with today's high forecasted to reach 67 before dropping back to an overnight low of 42 .... first up this morning was attending a Baptismal service for one of our daughters-in-law .... that was a big event for our family .... afterward we all went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant .... that is something I very, very, very seldom do and it looks like I'll be paying for it all afternoon ....

86° predicted high for today and 80's all this week, average temps for May are 70's which is plenty warm enough for me. Looks like it's going to be another very hot Summer and I'm pretty sure our creek will go dry sometime this Summer.

50 and a high of 76. I've got a lot of work today. I need to start my Form 4 conversions to the family trust. That is going to be a lot of paperwork.
I also need one item for Form 1. To do much of this work i need to clean off my work desk, which means cleaning up my office to some degree.
Gas was 5.29 for premium yesterday.
My shoulder is still giving me problems; I pray that it is on the mend.
As for coffee, I'm rocking my normal Guatemalan light roast.

It’s 51F in Champaign, IL where we spent the night and 38 back home. I’m not going to mention the 82F we left behind in FL. We will be home mid afternoon after being gone for 11 days.
