I just saw and heard the first sand hill crane of the season. I have two pairs that nest in the waters by my field.
I have not removed the snow blower from the lawn tractor yet. Spring is trying to get here.

We are expecting up to 10” of snow in the next week. I have my doubts as highs will be in the 50’s. It’s 34F now with calm high overcast

Good morning, 44° here this AM and headed towards 75 later.
Did some backyard shooting/plink'n yesterday afternoon.
Some rimfire revolvers then from the deck a couple pistol calibered rifles.

It looks like all we get is some rain and snow towards the weekend.
You always seem to get more bad weather than we do.

38 and overcast now with a high in the 50’s expected. Maybe some overnight rain then on the nice side for a few days. Had a great day on the golf course yesterday but still in long pants and sweatshirt. Today I’ll finish up my pine cone pickup project. Seems like every one I pick up another falls.

Hey Hatch, same thing here with these blame gumballs and the sweet gum tree here in the side yard.
Clean them up and next day it almost looks like you didn't do anything.

I have a similar problem with acorns. There are literally hundreds of thousands of them in my yard. I have to rake them up or else I will be mowing Oak tree seedlings all summer.
I can't wait for Spring and mushroom picking to begin. Our woods are full of them.
