North America has a surplus of oil and natural gas. We import very little from the mid-east, so supply is not a problem. But, the price for domestic oil is the same as the price for global oil, which is experiencing a rapidly increasing fuel shortage. It's all about the Benjamins, even for our most patriotic billionaires; we shouldn't expect them to leave money on the table because they're fellow citizens. They're capitalists, too.

Good thing we have really smart people, the best people, managing everything for the rest of us. I'm not concerned.

Smart although some of that higher cost is recovered with better mileage.

Well over $4 here in Deer Park. It’s usually a few cents cheaper in Spokane. Today I’m making a trip to Idaho and it will be interesting to compare the prices. There are the same brand of stations (Maverick) in both locations so it’s a good apples to apples comparison. Or, in the case of Washington to Idaho, apples to potatoes. (Sorry, couldn’t resist)
