Stoeger STR-9MC

Post by GFK » Thu Mar 05, 2026 10:11 pm

Made it out to the range today, to trip out the prize that I buy myself from the gun bash. Overall, I like it. The trigger is smooth. I shot 115gr, 124gr, 124gr +P and 147gr. The one thing that is a con is the texture of the grip. After a few rounds, the metal can cause a little soreness. Then, it might be that my hand is soft.

So, a few years ago, I picked up two str-9s. I think with the rebate, they were a buck twenty-five. I've shot the heck out of them. They are accurate enough for my know your limits target at 35 ft. Seven plates from 4" down to 1 " @ 35 feet. Mine only came with one mag each. 2nd and 3rd mags were on sale a year or so later. But yeah, I'm tickled pink about how nice a gun they are for the price.
