That's not all of it.
The previous owner was married to a princess... She wanted a luxury bathroom. So he built one. Huge.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Like I said, Huge, twelve foot by fourteen feet eight inches.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Tue Feb 24, 2026 9:18 pmWhat are the dimensions?BrokenolMarine wrote: ↑Tue Feb 24, 2026 9:08 pmThat's not all of it.![]()

Then there is another walk in closet off that bathroom that was all floor to ceiling shelves for just shoes and purses.
Yup, a true princess bathroom. I told Miss T I would have made that bathroom HALF that size, and enlarged the Master Bedroom. You could have doubled the size of the Master Bedroom and still had a very generous Master Bath.

12 x 14’8”
We were just measuring our dining room for a rug and it’s 8x11’. It does open up into the kitchen and living room so doesn’t feel tight. Bathroom princess for sure.

Re: Two Bathroom Upgrades
Like all projects, we have run into a couple hiccups. When the box was opened for the preformed pan for the shower, it was found to have a crack in the face of the curb. $800 was supposed to make life easier, lay a base of thinset, set the pan in place and level it, and allow it to dry, then tile the pan. Called the company, to see if tiling over the thin crack would be okay. NOPE, box it up, return it to Home Depot and have them return it. Another would be shipped when they have it in hand. Ten Days.
Our tile gal said she'd form and lay the base the old way. No problem. Save the money and still only be a day or so behind.
She and Miss Tina got to work. Laughing and cracking jokes all day. They got a LOT done and will be ready to start on the base tomorrow.
The first pic shows the wall up and the plumbing run for the main shower head and the hand held. You can also see the supports for the various grab bars and the seats on that right hand wall. They should be more than sturdy enough.
They stayed busy throughout the day, got the backing board up and secured. Won't be too long and they will be tiling.
It's just still rough, but starting to look like something. Still a lot of work to do, but you can get an idea now of Miss T's vision.
