Re: Buck 110 Slim Hunter
As far as I know, perhaps as many as 1/3 of Buck Knives are made in China. The other 2/3 s are made in Post Falls Idaho. Last time I looked at the website, it told you if it was made in the USA. The made in China line seems to compete with all the other knives sold here that are made there.

Re: Buck 110 Slim Hunter
I live 30 miles from the Buck factory in Post Falls and I have never visited. I was talking with my brother the other day and when I told him this he just shook his head. He visits often.daytime dave wrote: ↑Fri Jan 02, 2026 11:11 amAs far as I know, perhaps as many as 1/3 of Buck Knives are made in China. The other 2/3 s are made in Post Falls Idaho. Is there an easy way to tell the difference, I just don't like supporting china.

The packaging will have an American flag on it if made here. I agree entirely on not supporting the PRC!
Re: Buck 110 Slim Hunter
Google:
While Buck does produce about 15% of its total product line overseas, the 110 model specifically is a flagship U.S.-made product.

Re: Buck 110 Slim Hunter
I checked this knife out and for me its a little larger than I want for EDC. More expensive but I will take a Benchmade Bugout.

Where I live, a buck knife belt holster doesn't even get a second glance. Many have them also.
I agree Al, for pocket carry, it would be a bit big.

A pair of 112 Slim Bucks and a Bugout. Picture makes the Benchmade look bigger than it is.
