...Meeko recently took a liking to an injured wild crow that showed up in her yard in Portland, Oregon. To her [owner's] surprise, the crow felt likewise, and now they’re “thick as thieves”.

The two now run around together and take naps side by side. Sometimes the crow pecks on the glass door to get Meeko to come outside and play.

Meeko, a Border Collie, and her good friend, Russell Sheryl Crowe, a crow.

There is a den of foxes on the ridge above where we live. It's all wooded. They raise a batch of kits every year and they don't bother us and we let them be. I like to watch them on my game cameras.
Now I personally haven't seen this, but my neighbor Kat says that the male fox comes down the ridge every day to play with her cat. She says they take turns chasing each other around the yard. They're buddies.
I'd like to see it for myself.
