I decapped some brass this morning, 38-55, 444, 45 colt and 357.
I then checked the mail box and found these. ;) 125 new 38-55 pieces. :D A member over on MO wanted to split an order, so I obliged him. 8-)
Got 900 255gr pills coming for it also.
Look out gongs.

Walked my daughter's 17-year-old boyfriend through loading a .357 cartridge with a Lee Classic Loader. He's got an engineering-type mind and is very interested in processes such as that. Really a fun 8- or 10-minute deal!

That’s great. Nice to see another generation showing an interest.

My reloading room is silent and probably will be for a while. I have so many odds and ends loaded up I need to shoot all of those up before I start more loading.

The first set of rifle caliber bullet swage dies arrived yesterday...

Image

With the above set I can de-rim 22wrf/22mag cases into 6mm jackets. Then draw down, 6mm jackets to .22 jackets, and de-rim 22 rimfire cases into .22 bullet jackets.

It has core seat and core swage dies.

I also have 4s, 6s, 8s, open and lead tip point form dies.

Arriving today is a second Walnut Hill 2 press, 308 spire point die set, 358 die set along with a few other bits and bobs for swaging.

Similar here. My cheapo gun cabinet, I put shelves in, is full. Some overflow in my reloading bench drawers.
