We just voted in our provincial elections and it won’t be official for another week. Many ridings were less than 100 votes between the 2 parties. Looks like it’s going the wrong way, but fingers crossed.

I find almost all politicians are idiots, but I appreciate their willingness to take on the job. Even the ones with WAY too much knowledge of sporting legends endowments!

The wife and I voted last week on the holiday.

We try and do the early voting here in VA, because we often dont know our schedules.

I' say we do the polls 50/50 election day and early voting.

The Wife and I voted Wed at the courthouse annex. Large crowd for the third day of early voting. I feel like doing at government seat that my vote will count. As long as early voting exists, I will be doing the early gig. We had no problems, plenty of reserved parking, and well staffed. Took about 20 minutes to do our thing.

I turned on the TV and am being bombarded with political ads. I’ll be headed out to vote with five others in two hours. Then we will have a latte and watch the results while working on my new shop.

I now return you to regular posting.

I started listening to streaming music in the truck on my way to work. The ads (both sides) were just so negative, I could hardly arrive at work in any type of good mood.

I hope everyone who can vote gets out today.

Wife and I Voted this morning at 7:30. Just two people ahead of us.

We are not afraid of showing our support here in SW Virginia. Even at the polling station. There were about 80 signs outside.

Carol and I could have voted early but we choose to show up on election day and vote in person.
Our polling place is our town hall and these has been a lot of intimidation and election signs all around us, and
that's exactly why we go in person. I will not be intimidated by anyone.
I was an election judge for several years until a new head judge decided I didn't fit her profile of what a judge
should be. In other words, we did not agree on much, but that shouldn't have mattered.

I have never been persuaded by a political sign and I can't imagine anyone else being so either. They should ban that type of littering.

Our area is very proud of our decisions and it just reflects the majority of the people who live here. The other side is still welcome to vote which way they choose. The worst thing is that they will know that they are not in the majority of their fellow neighbors.

We voted by mail (mandatory for us) a week ago. Right now I have a small prime rib sitting unwrapped in the fridge which will be tonight’s watch party dinner for two. My mouth is starting to water just a little bit. $26.99 per pound at a butcher shop. Hope tonight’s election helps with these prices somewhat. :D
