Re: Range Report: daily plinking
I checked my range out after the snowfall and discovered my traps are full of snow. If the wind ever dies down I’m going to shoot the snow out of them.

Mine has a Beeman Model 25 scope on it which I believe was made specific for this pistol. It has the weight and balance of a 1911. I wanted to shoot it again today but it snowed all day and the wind never let up.

Nice looking pistol and I am glad to see that they went with the "A-1" arched main spring housing.

Yeah, tell me about the snow. It's getting old. Spent much of the shoveling instead of shooting.

No snow here...
thank goodness.
Mid 50's, but the danged wind the past couple days.
I managed a little time in the back yard earlier to spite it with these two.
The H001 and the Wrangler.

Re: Range Report: daily plinking
Gene, it's a good shooting little pistol.
I need to shoot it a little more often as it generally takes me a few rounds to see where it's hitting.
Accurate enough that I downed a squirrel with it for the grandson back in Jan.
He jumped just as I squeezed the trigger as I was aiming at it's head. He was roughly 9-10 yds away.

Re: Range Report: daily plinking
I’ve been plinking almost everyday. Usually it’s a Henry or Ruger rimfire. Today it was a Henry SGC. It wasn’t been cleaned in ages so I took it part today. I bet it’s had a thousand rounds through it since the last time it was cleaned other than running a snake down the barrel. I was amazed at how clean it was. Must be because I don’t use much oil that mixes with burn powder to make paste.
I don’t even clean my driveway and when I do I just sweep it into the gravel.
