I think y'all have helped to make up my mind about the Bond 410. Been thinking off and on about the Rowdy XL. I just don't think these old arthritic hands and fingers could take much of the 410.

I’ve shot the 410 Bond and didn’t think the kick which was big wasn’t sharp. What I don’t like about the Bond is you don’t pull the trigger back you pull it down in an awkward pull.

My .357 X-Model is probably my most accurate lever gun and it rountinely prints sub 1" 50 yard groups with several different handloads. I had a dandy going today with 4 shots in the same hole when I blew the 5th. I knew the shot was a goner....operator error. May have to change my handle....Ol' 4 shot. :D

Researching the Bond derringers, I've read that about the triggers. Probably about the same as north American arms revolvers. I had a 410 handgun for several years that I kept in my Utv glove box. Great for rattlesnakes. I let one of the kids have it. It was a cheaper gun, but it had a similar trigger.

158 gr. Nosler HP's over 15.1 gr. of 296 with a CCI 400 small rifle primer for 1572 fps Avg. I'm convinced the CCi small pistol magnum and small rifle standard are one and the same. I've not detected any difference on the chrono or on paper.

The X is sighted in dead on at 50 yards for a +P .38 Spl 125 gr. XTP load that clocks 1192 fps average. That's the reason the hot load is hitting 3" high. There's a Streamlight TL1 HL on the X and one of these days the big nasty coyote that's been terrorizing this neighborhood is gonna slip up. :D

Today’s plinking was brought to you by Beeman. It took me about a dozen shots to finally hit the yellow spinner at 10 yards.

Don't feel bad. That Beeman/HW springer pistol is very hard to shoot with consistent accuracy. I have the HW labeled version.

Mine is marked P1. I believe they are the same model.

I went back and shot again at 5 yards and did a lot better.
