Not sure where friends daughter will end up playing now. Milly is currently in her 2nd year of JUCO averaging 19.4 points 13.4 rebounds, shooting 56% from the floor, 43% 3 point and 83% free with a few 30 point games this season.
She committed to Vaginia Tech but with the departure of head coach Kenny Brooks this week she is reevaluating where she will go.

this is most certainly the time of year for the coaching merry-go-round to kick in .... a team's performance in the tournament can most certainly be a final straw or saving grace

in tonight's games in the Sweet 16, Clemson (#6) vs Arizona (#2) in the first game .... University of NC (#1) vs Alabama (#4) in the second game .... the ACC has 4 teams in the 16 but they could all go down

as bad as I hate to say it, Alabama outplayed UNC last night and earned their place in the final 8

both NC State and Duke won close games against tough competition in the sweet 16 .... #11 State got by #2 Marquette 67 - 58 in a game that was even closer than the score .... #4 Duke took #1 Houston 54 - 51 in a game that was every bit as close as the score .... today #6 Clemson is an underdog going into it game with #4 Alabama ..... sadly, the brackets are structured to where NC State goes up against Duke in their next game .... I've long felt that the brackets should be fixed to where two teams from the same conference should not have to meet until as far in the possible ....

While watching Gonzaga get a beat down by Purdue I was watching the score of the NC State game. It got pretty close there for a while but it was nice to see them win going away…..Jim Valvano is smiling down on the team from Heaven.

Clemson got off to a strong start but couldn't hang on .... they go home, Alabama dances on .... NC State and Duke go at it starting around 5PM
