for me, the best television mini series that I've ever seen was the original Shogun .... it first aired back on September 15, 1980 and is still my all time favorite .... the new series premiered with its first two episodes on February 27, 2024, on Hulu and FX, with new episodes of the 10-episode series then releasing weekly .... next week's episode will be #5 .... the new series follows the same story line as the original and provides insight into interactions between some characters that wasn't included in the original .... it is very well done, with impressive scenery and backgrounds
