New Rifle Sling

Post by Handloader » Sun Jan 14, 2024 10:59 am

I have been using one sling for all my henrys and other rifles. So, I decided to make one for the Henrys. I made some buffalo nickel Chicago screw to hole the sling on the mounts and the adjustment strap. Died the leather with some natural die I made from black walnut husks.

Nice. I made a couple last year for the two rifles we use the most here on the farm. A CZ455 .22 Tina uses for varmints, and the Ruger Ranch .223 for the Yotes. It was a Thumbhole pattern I got from a leather worker on the internet. I think I posted it here somewhere.
