I didn't know the deer had a union.

Re: Deer strike in PA
BTDT. We lived in Rural VA for nearly 30 years, hit a half dozen during that time.
It's gets expensive. The last one we hit did about $9,000 in damage...
Running on the squad we have seen folks severely injured in deer vs. car accidents.
Deer goes into the car, or... driver swerves, misses the deer, loses control, and the accident causes severe injury.
Deer laughs and runs into the woods, never to be seen again.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Deer strike in PA
My car is currently in the shop with $13K in damages because a deer wanted to play chicken.

Re: Deer strike in PA
Just last night, close to home, I had to brake quickly to avoid a doe in the fog. Thankfully, one of the local tailgators was not behind me then.
I'm glad your son wasn't injured.
