Didn't shoot as much this year but it was probably the 22-250 Savage BVSS.

I don't keep track, but since I've bought some new guns this year, it's probably .22lr, .45acp, and 9mm. Not necessarily in that order.

Probably .22 cal. pellets. A few 357 rounds also.

9mm for action pistol matches and general plinking. Then 45 ACP and 45 Colt tied in second place.

That is a hard question to answer. Maybe .44's followed by 22 rimfire.

9mm with .38 a close second. Although, 5.56 is catching up.

Interesting that so many of us are shooting some really, really old cartridges that are still as popular as ever. Consider that the 45 Colt and 45-70 go all the way back to 1873, the 22 LR goes all the way back to 1887, the 30-30 to 1895, the 38 Special to 1898, the 9mm to 1902, the 45 ACP to 1905, the 30-06 to 1906, the 22 Hornet to 1930, the 357 Mag to 1935 and then we jump to the more "modern" cartridges like the 308 to 1955, the 44 mag and the 223 and the 243, also 1955.

Does make you wonder why some cartridges just keep going and going, while some otherwise well-designed cartridges just never made it to the big time.

What you said NCG, I also shoot a bit of 25-20 38-55 and 35 Rem. also. And the 444 which only arrived on the scene in the early 60's. And probably has as much to do with the revision of the ole 45-70 as any thing else.

So true on the 444. Great cartridge. Used to shoot it. The 45-70 really stole its thunder shortly after.

That’s the exact words I would use to describe you!

I shot my .44 Magnum the most, but only because the 1:40 barrel made it so frustrating to dial in! I love shooting the BBSC, but usually because it’s fun, not because I can’t hit the side of a barn!
