Removing mag tube on Steel Boy 357

Post by Gixxerman » Tue Nov 15, 2016 5:40 pm

Hi Guys

New to the forum. I've had this steel boy since the spring, but have not shot it too much. Well I went to sight it in this weekend and noticed the mag tube slid over as I tried to tap my front sight over. The dovetail is def too loose. I stripped the gun down wanting to give the edges of the dovetail on the barrel a few taps but noticed the mag tube seems locked in by the handguard attachment piece. Anyone had to take yours off? I sent a message to Henry but have not heard back yet. Lmk if anyone has any advice. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum from CT. I understand your frustration with your new rifle. I went through it, too; though not with your particular issue. However, I was more than happy with Henry's Customer Service and you will be, too. It's beyond compare. You will hear back from them. That is certain. And you will be completely satisfied with your rifle. That is also certain.

Keep us posted.
